Hi, can WEAP be used to route flood? On the catchment tree in the results tab I see Flooded area, Flooded volume and others but every time I check the results it is always zero (0). Can someone tell me what the flooded volume is all about

The Flooding tab for catchments can represent flooding for rice cultivation, managed or unmanaged wetlands, and river flooding onto a floodplain. Please see the WEAP Help on "Flooding" for more information. In general, WEAP can only run on a daily timestep, and it will assume during flood events than any water breaching the top of a reservoir will flow downstream in the same timestep. While manual expressions denoting how that flood water will be routed are possible, WEAP was limited built-in hydraulic features. More detailed flood analysis may be recommended in using HEC-HMS.
