Dear sir/madam
Now I am working on my MSc thesis on "optimal allocation of multipurpose dam for irrigation and water supply demands". But, regarding the source (reservoir)since the river is non perennial (flow available only in June,July and August) and is unguaged; I have only recorded reservoir water level (elevation_storage curve) data so, is it sufficiently enough to proceed my analysis using WEAP model, can I use it for calibration by PEST_WEAP? how? what other data are essential let me collect them from now inwards.

In addition to this, I would like to perform maximization of profit from agricultural sector so, does a WEAP have linear programming capability to do optimal allocation of irrigable lands to various crops in my case to 4 crops. If that is possible which do you suggest me from WEAP or excel solver or LINGO?

my study is expected to solve conflicting interests of water demands using WEAP model such a way that balances both demands and will improve rural community livelihoods through optimal irrigation system so, helping me indirectly you are helping the rural communities.

Thanks more for your help!!!
