Subject: Calibration

Hi,

I have a systems model of my basin which is quite big, but I have created a detailed model of the headwaters only for an quicker calibration. Now, I would like to use the calibrated parameters of the detailed model in the complete one. Is there any way of doing so not manually? Is there a file that contains the values of the parameters that I can copy and overwrite? It would make things much easier...

Thank you!
Ms. Stephanie Galaitsi

Dear Andrea,

You could do one of two things:

1) You can make key assumptions for all the parameters. This means that if you later decide to adjust them, you can adjust them in a single location, and the change will be implemented for all the linked data. There's an example of how to make Key Assumptions in WEAP in the tutorial chapter "Basic Tools" (www.WEAP21.org/tutorial).

2) You can also export your model as an Excel document, edit all the data there (it is much faster) and then import it with the data. The instructions for this are in the tutorial chapter "Data, Results and Formatting."
