Can you explain the calculation theory for the soil moisture method? I want to know how to calculate the sum of several parameters to become the top bucket?
How is the weighting? I see that the theory is not available in the weap guide book

Belia,

I recommend in WEAP to go to Help --> Search --> Soil Moisture Method. Find the article titled exactly "Soil Moisture Method", and see Figure 1, which shows a conceptual diagram of the 2-bucket model. This article also shows how the calculations are performed.
