The Model Inspector Tool I downloaded from the video appears to work only with the Tutorial model. How can I link it to my own WEAP model?
Can anyone guide me through this?

Angana,

I believe in the "Main" tab of the Model Inspector tool, you can set the "WEAP Area" name of your own WEAP model towards the top left of the tab.

Hope this helps!

Dear Doug,

Do we also need to update the name and structure of the Key Assumptions and the land use name in the case study area? Also, is it compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit systems, or does it require a specific version of Microsoft or any other specific setup? I couldn’t run it on my side either.

Selam,

Here is an answer from my colleague. I hope it is able to help you-

You only need to modify the structure in the “KeyModelInputs.csv” or “WEAPKeyEnsemble” files (find them in input templates folder or download them from the tool) according to the Key Assumptions you have in your model depending on the strategy you are using to iterate. For example, if one of the Key Assumptions you want to modify to calibrate the model is called LandCover and in the Next Level you have Forest, Agriculture and Urban, and the lowest level are the calibration parameters like Kc, RRF, etc, the structure inside the excel files, your structure will be of the type “KeyLandCover:Annual Activity Level” and you can do it with the others.

To run Model Inspector you must have R, RStudio and Rtools downloaded. I think it works for both systems.

Additionally, you must verify that the requested libraries are properly installed and follow all the recommendations that appear inside the tool before running it.

If this does not work, you can tell me exactly what is not working and send me an example to help you.

Thank you, Doug, for your prompt response and clear explanation. I will do as you explained and see the outcome.
