Hi all,

I am setting up the water allocation (agricultural and domestic consumption) in the northern part of Thailand. The agricultural water demand is modelled as a catchment with different types of land types (e.g. rice rainfed, corn, sugarcane, irrigated rice, mixed farm and etc.).

Once I run the model, agricultural water demand are incredibly high (2000-3000 CMS). Any suggestion on which parameter(s) I should carefully adjust to get appropriate water demand values?

Thank you very much.

Hi Chusit,

Did you check the value you entered for the area of your catchment object where you have irrigation? Its unit (eg that it is not km² instead of ha, that there is not scale)? That you entered the correct % for Irrigated Area?

Hope it helps...
