Dear Sir,

I have a concern.

In my WEAP model, I added 20 demand sites with reservoirs and input all the necessary data. Then, I added headflow data. Initially, my demand sites showed 100% coverage. However, upon removing the headflow data and rerunning the model, it still showed 100% coverage for the demand sites. This seemed incorrect to me; without headflow data, demand sites shouldn't show 100% coverage.

I've been trying to figure out why this happened but haven't been successful so far. Could you please help me solve this problem? Thank you so much. Sir

Kind Regards,

Sanjeewa

Sanjeewa,

I would look to two places. One place to look is under results for Water Demand. Do your demand nodes have a non-zero water demand? If your demand nodes have water demands of 0, the coverage would show 100% even with no streamflow. The other place to look is at streamflow results. Go to your river and show all nodes and reaches along the bottom axis. Then, you can see if there are other sources of streamflow in your river.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Doug
