The Polytechnic University of Madrid is pleased to announce that a workshop entitled "Using WEAP as a Decision Support System for Water Resources Management and Adaptation to Climate Change" will be held on the UPM campus in Madrid between 12-15 April, 2011. This workshop, which is organized in collaboration with colleagues from the WEAP development team within the Stockholm Environment Institute, will include hands-on training on the use of the WEAP software, lectures on how WEAP has been used to support analysis of climate change adaptation opportunities within the water sector, and time for participants to work with WEAP experts to begin constructing WEAP applications based on their own data.
