Catchment Runoff can be directed to rivers and groundwater nodes using a Runoff/Infiltration Link. These flows can be specified directly (for the Rainfall Runoff method) or WEAP can simulate, using the Soil Moisture, MABIA or Plant Growth Methods, the amounts of runoff, soil moisture, and baseflow (groundwater inflow if a Runoff/Infiltration Link is created between the catchment and a groundwater node) generated by the catchment.
