Minimum Flow Requirement

A Minimum Flow Requirement defines the minimum monthly flow required along a river to meet water quality, fish & wildlife, navigation, recreation, downstream or other requirements. Depending on its demand priority, a flow requirement will be satisfied either before, after or at the same time as other demands on the river.

The Priority is the flow requirement's priority for supply, relative to all other demands in the system.  By default, priorities can range from 1 to 99, with 1 being the highest priority and 99 the lowest, although you can change this in Basic Parameters. Priority can vary over time or by scenario.  See Demand Priority, Supply Preferences and Allocation Order for more information.
